If you are doing podcast with more people or you want to show your room/background, then this is definitely a solid choice for a cheap product. For streaming, you can still use it since you can do some masking/cropping on your streaming software to fit the size of your image/video. It is a really good choice for being cheap and good product.

Easy to set up and use, no frills, controls or extras. The resolution may be HD on a small screen but not mine. Still, it serves my purpose sort of and I cant complain about the price. I guess you do get what you pay for.

I received it today. I plugged it in and booted up Ubuntu Linux 18.04.1. I made a movie in Cheese. Video and sound were fine. I made a Skype test call. No problems there. I booted up Windows 10 and it worked fine there too. Video is mediocre but fine for a 20 dollar webcam. Sound is fine as well. The Camera sits securely on top of my monitor and it will also stand on a desktop or shelf. I measured the USB cable at 58 inches - so almost 5 feet which was fine for my setup and there is lots of slack. So far I am quite happy with it.
