Got this one to replace my Echo Show 5 because the screen is bigger and it can stream news and channels to watch. I use this in my Kitchen in lieu of a TV. It also has great sound quality to stream music. You can look up recipes and view them and any other application that works with Amazon enabled devices.

The third generation of the Echo Show 8 is truly Amazon’s best smart display yet. Compared to its predecessor, its redesigned audio and touchscreen sounds more powerful and adapts more intuitively to its surroundings. As a smart speaker, display, assistant and smart home hub all in one, it’s a joy and some would say a necessity to have in your home. A well deserved 5/5 stars.
