Gregory Zulu 40l Rygsæk

I've owned quite a lot of packs throughout the years, and my approach to purchases in general requires reasonable research on materials, comfort and function. This Zulu meets all my expectations. Comfort right out of the box. Shoulder harness contours w/your body/shoulder and is what i was looking for. Gregory went the extra step to implement this ergonomic feature. Material quality, back in my past i was working in the NY textile industry and then for a premium retailer. Learned alot about material strength, construction and quality. The materials on this pack: Gregory did their homework. The pack contains just enough volume for my various requirements, day hiking, camera toting & travel. I carry a DSLR w/24-70 lens in protective case. it fits nicely in this backpack, easy to access and i'm still able to carry some warm clothes & lunch. It will be my camera day pack as it doesnt scream 'camera inside'. Overall, its what i've been looking for a long time.

I did some long treks with him and he is very comfortable and very practical without a doubt its a good choice :)

I bought this bag a few weeks ago, and I made the right choice. The zipper access to the main compartment is better than any other bag I've owned. This is my first Gregory, all of my other packs are Osprey, I will definitely look at Gregory in future pack purchases. The side pockets are great for larger water bottles, I can't wait to see how well it holds up.

I was looking for a nice day and snowshoeing pack and this fit the bill. It fits the extra gear needed for those longer days in the cooler weather with room to spare.
