Great alternative to whoever wants to return to CDs. Powerful small device at a good price. Easy to use for beginners and perfect to store in some small places. Great options with digital alternatives too. The only cons would be the cables from unit to speakers being not long enough but apart from that delighted with this purchase. Finally back to listening to a full album with good sound and no adverts - bliss! And having music in the background makes such a difference to your life!

As a Life long purchaser of Philips Products, I am very disappointed with this TAM8905.It is the second machine I've purchased as the first one failed with a broken display (which took nearly 5 months to get resolved, as purchased via third part seller on Amazon). Second unit purchased from actual Amazon has now just gone out of guarantee and the CD player has now failed. Does not start when any disc is placed in the machine. Although it's quite a nice unit for DAB and USB playback. However very expensive for using only 2 options.

Excellent product, wish I had bought it sooner. Great sound quality, so easy to set up. DAB radio large choice of stations. Internet radio is great. A fantastic top quality product.

Really happy wirh my purchase. Bought the Phillips hi-fi from the reviews left. Really iimpressed with ease of set up and quality of sound. A bonus, it arrived quicker than expected. One satisfied customer.
