The pro is the the sound quality. The con has been connectivity issues with the app. I have needed to reset the soundbar multiple times to get it to work consistently. Trying to figure out what different color blinky lights mean has required some searching as well.

Excellent room filling sound quality! Works really well in the Bose app and integrates seamlessly with air play etc. Overall I am very pleased. Paired mine with a sub 500 and that creates a pretty complete sound system that is very pleasing. Only complaint is that the sound bar got stuck in an update for over a day and I had to delete the app and re-set up the bar. Oh, also the AI voice thing seems more like a gimmick than a useful feature because the sound quality diminishes when used. Not a big deal to me though

I brought it over a 2 weeks ago and it sounds great. Was easy to setup also. Work great with my 500 bass satellite speakers.

We replaced our Bose 500 soundbar with the new Smart Ultra Soundbar and are very pleased with the unit overall. The sound surpasses the 500 in clarity and immersion and also provides better depth and separation. However the soundbar still has a propensity to turn off the TV on it's own, just like the soundbar 500 used to do. Not sure what's going on, something to do with the HDMI eARC and soundbar settings somewhere. Other than that I'd give it 5 stars.

Older and hearing dialogue from our TV was hard. The soundbar does help a lot and makes TV more enjoyable.
