Everyone on a thru hike wears HOKAS but I find them way too narrow for my slightly wide feet. I wish they would understand women sometimes have wide feet!

I use these for everything from easy hikes to garden work to easing back into a jogging routine after some serious weight gain and a Grade 3 ankle sprain. I also need a shoe that will take an orthotic for plantar fasciitis. The shoes just work for what I need them to do. I wish they were more durable as I blew out the side of them after what I would guess is 200-250 miles.

I have a pair of Hoka shoes and ordered these boots hoping these were as comfortable as the shoes, but they were not. They were comfortable enough for a lightweight hiking boot but not like I wanted. I exchanged the Hoka insoles with a much better brand insole and the shoe reached almost shoe status. They are waterproof, lightweight and furnished plenty of support for an off trail cross country hike. I was pleased with everything except the furnished insoles.

The second look for this HOKA. Got the next size up and with inserts they are comfortable. Like to see how a 14.5 men’s world fit, in the toe box.

I wear them for work honestly they’re great. I consistently walk 25k steps everyday, the best shoe I’ve worn. I’m bummed REI runs markdowns where most sizes aren’t available.
