The watch is good at tracking running and other activities using GPS. Yet, the screen is its limiting factor. Not very bright and resolution is limited. If you can spend the extra money, go for the Forerunner 165. Otherwise, this is a decent entry-level Garmin.

Battery life is the game changer for me. My previous smartwatch would not last for a 20km run. Still getting to grips with the settings etc but so far, so good. Very happy with my Garmin Forerunner 55

Previously had a Galaxy watch 4 and it just wouldn't last 4 hours to do a marathon. I bought this Forerunner 55 and it got me through the entirety of Comrades marathon and a week and a half of battery after that. Works brilliant.

I got the watch last week Friday so far so good am loving my new gadget , I would recommend this watch cause it is easy to navigate especially for new users .
