Image quality is very sensitive to vertical viewing angle of the screen. It's OK if your face is perpendicular to the screen, but move your head up or down a little, and the image gets washed out to dull muddy colors very quickly. I was hoping to use it in the reclined position like a control panel or audio mixer board, and pushed back from the front of the desk about 8 inches, but it looks terrible. You have to lean directly over the screen to see a decent image. Lean back at all while it is reclined, and it's washed out and hard to read. Since the stand can be fully reclined, I was expecting a nice image at that angle - not even close. I was very disappointed. I'll hang it on the wall in the kitchen and try to find a better one for the desk.

The blacks are dark grays and the whites are very light grays, even with 100% contrast, 50% brightness, and native video settings. As another reviewer (Roy Eduardo Kokoyachukon March 20, 2015) mentioned two and a half year ago, I placed the ViewSonic TD2430 monitor, side-by-side with my Toshiba Satellite laptop and the difference is obvious. The owner manual is childish and the datasheet document is with omissions and errors (legend of components and I/O connectors). I'm rating the monitor with 3 stars, but this is very subjective. If you consider that even a cheap phone has a better display (and has a lot of other functions), I incline more towards a 2 star rating. Also, I purchased an extended warranty which I plan of returning alongside the monitor for a refund.

This is an awesome monitor. Very responsive and has never missed a beat. I've had issues with other touch screens connecting with the USB, this one is always there without a hiccup. Highly recommended.

I love it. Using 2 screens, it's so much easier to have a touchscreen for both displays. I almost returned it due to problems getting it hooked up. It took nearly 3 weeks to find the right connector (I have a lightweight laptop that only has USB and mini-HDMI connections) and get the monitor working. By the way, this monitor doesn't work with a USB connection. Once I got it connected, a second challenge was that the monitor reflected my light fixture in the middle of the screen so I couldn't really use it since the built-in stand tips it back. It took another week to find a stand that I could use that would keep the monitor vertical. I found a heavy one so when I use touchscreen it doesn't move. Glad I didn't give up - a second touch screen makes it so easier to maneuver between two screens and makes me more effective. Ten times better than a regular monitor and worth the extra money.

Using monitor in lighting show room for customers to browse products, Installed on Widows 10 Pro PC with no issues. Has been working well. Touch sensitivity is good and calibration was not needed.
