Overall quality is good, setting up is easy EXCEPT webcam. As the webcam is not enabling to my laptop(windows 7)Had to call customer support many times. Had the full instructions included in the box in the first place would have saved my time and Philips' not a pleasant experience. Its the first day so its too early to comment on performance!!

I bought this monitor to use with both a Mac computer and an older PC, and it works really well with both (the Mac via the HDMI input, the PC via the DVI input). The screen is excellent, and the monitor has numerous features such as power and light sensors, LowBlue mode, excellent colour gamut, good viewing angle, and adjustments for height, pivot, swivel and tilt. It can be used for gaming, but overall it has proved to be a great general purpose monitor and very good value for the price.

Bought this for a Mac Mini specifically for its built in web cam, speakers and higher resolution in mind. Considering the purchase price, this is an excellent all round monitor only let down by the speakers. The 2k screen is more than good enough to work well with the Mac mini and is very clear. The webcam, which works right out of the box, provides very good quality for meetings etc. Unlike other monitors, you cannot control the built in speakers via usb, which means the Mac's built in volume controls will not operate the speaker volume. The build quality and look of the monitor is superb and the stand is very versatile and well thought out. The stand itself allows you to move the monitor into all sorts of positions with ease. If, like me, you need a reasonably priced all round monitor this is a good choice rather than a separate webcam bolted onto the top.

Good Points: Good quality image. Loaded Skype on to it and it gave excellent visual and sound contact to Europe from both ends, best we have ever had. Got in touch with Philips Helpdesk and they were very helpful over camera hiccup. Improvement Points: Rather vague instructions - all visual which is good but extra text would have been useful particularly around setting up inbuilt camera and microphone. Didn't like to press down too hard to get camera to pop up in case we broke it, but it wouldn't come up if we didn't press hard. The diagram shows pressing downwards with one finger!

Good Points: Built quality is very good, so far very good audio(both mic and Speakers) especially while on video conferencing. Its just plug in for latest operating systems. Improvement Points: Not easy to set up with Window 7, set up instructions could have been better in the guide. Had to contact Philips customer care several times !!
