Ubiquiti UX7 | System Mesh | UniFi Gateway, Plug & Play, WiFi7

Disappointing range compared to a Google Nest Wifi router from 2019 which perfectly covered one floor. Too bad because the software stack is top, even if Unifi would benefit from releasing a beginner mode equivalent to other consumer routers.

I wanted to replace my BBox router because I wanted to have greater control over my home network environment. I really like the OS provided by Ubiquiti, you can quickly get something up and running and if you want to go further with the configurations. The wifi is very good (once you configure the router to be on 'Maximum speed'). I wasn't able to test Wifi 7 (I don't have a compatible device), but I'm already getting 1 Gb/s in Wifi 6e with my phone, which is more than enough for me (Wifi7 will allow me to be future-proof).

This product is a joy to install. Easy to set up with no need to be an expert. Highly recommended

I bought this to replace my old 16 port Usw-16-poe switch which was rack mountable. It works the same and I can't notice a difference. It works perfectly with the rest of my Ubiquiti network. If you don't need the rack mounting option, this will work fine.
