Typical Marshall DSL sound in a more portable package. Great for everything except Fender-style cleans. But then if you're looking at buying a Marshall you already know that anyway. Made in Vietnam, but the quality seems as good externally as the Made in Bletchley TSL601 I had many years ago. I haven't had the back off, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Paired mine with the MX112 cab into which I've fitted a Celestion V30. Really good all-round rock/pop setup. It won't do everything, but what it does do it does very well. Recommended, especially for the price

Great little amp.A bit loud for bedroom practise but using an attenuator lets me crank the amp up but keep volume low.First time with a valve amp.Paired with a Les Paul it’s Fantastic!!!

Great amp. Stands up to my vintage Plexi and JCM800 but a lot more portable. I prefer the classic gain channel pushed to the limit with an overdrive pedal. You get a lovely saturated tone. The ultra gain is darker and more modern sounding. But very good too. Sounds fantastic on 10, better than the 100 watt DSL I had circa 2005

This little amp is awesome. Big bang for buck valve sound, under 400 quid !!!!! Impressed by the delivery service even more. Ordered on a Saturday morning for a Sunday delivery

Having developed my penchant for hair metal and similar genres in the 80’s and 90’s, I’ve been looking for something that can replicate that sound in my current domestic setup. The DSL20HR ticked the boxes for me especially at the price. Its valve goodness certainly enable me to create the sound I craved and having switchable 10/20watts of power helps keeps things vaguely sensible for the neighbours. Although, being valve driven, it is loud!
