TP-LINK Re205 Wifi-repeater

This did not work and i shoukd have returned it. Dang. Bad product

Purchased this with low expectations given my previous experience with a Wi-Fi extender fifteen years ago and pessimistic online comments about Wi-Fi extenders in general. The technology has definitely improved. I was quite please when this RE205 worked, and it worked well. The signal strength in my garage went from "Poor" without it to "Excellent" with it. TP LInk provides a range of methods to set up and configure it, giving you plenty of flexibility depending on your equipment and needs. It even has a MAC filter for security, and can also be used as an wireless access point. All this for only $30. If your current Wi-Fi signal is weak, I highly recommend this excellent product.

Helps to extend the Wi-Fi to a dead spot at the far end of the house.
