This is certainly a very study monopod, and the adjustment clips for each section are very robust, you certainly know when each section is locked and ready to go. I paired this up the Manfrotto 494 Ball Head, a nice pairing.

Bought to aid in the use of a 150-600mm sigma lens. Came with a free quick release tilt head so it was even better value. I expect this to last a lifetime as the build quality is excellent. Very easy to extend and close up.

Like a one-legged tripod, steady and sure shooting but much much more portable and lighter to boot.

It looks and feels good and will be using it for videoing, so time will tell, i already have a Manfrotto Tripod which is great, so keen to see how the monopod goes.
