The makita planer was brought as a Christmas gift but I'm sure it's not not too noisy.its good quality and value for its money.

Good quality planer works very well and is easy to use.

Bought it, used it, if needed too I'd buy it again. But that's very unlikely. Simply, great!!

This plane does not plane. The blades are installed wrong or the product is faulty; either way it's going back. It's also incredibly hard to start with the stupid and cramped locking button meaning you need two hands just to start it. Unusual for Makita to produce rubbish

This is a joy to use. I bought the dust bag separately, perfect collection with plenty of bag space for chippings.
