Having used this now for a couple of weeks I've learnt about it's limitations. This is very much a small scale domestic shredder suitable for freshly cut frond-type material that can be gathered by hand into thin bundles. I had a mix of old and new material of all sizes and shapes and much of this caused blockage. However when I got used to its preferred 'diet' it 's worked well. Daft idea not including the collection bag. I use a large shallow bowl before transferring to waste bags.

Current example failed after 5 years. Brilliant shredder so bought another quickly as material mounted.

Have used four times to date....Excellent product - well made ...easy to use just follow the safety instructions - do not overload or exceed the cutting capacity and this machine will produce excellent chippings/mulch for the garden......

An excellent product, as usual, from Bosch. I found the instructions clear & easy to follow so had no trouble in starting and using the shredder. It is also easy to move, necessary when one is getting on in years as I am!

Having just hard-pruned two wisteria and a fig, the only word I can think of to describe this machine is "unermüdlich"!
