This switch replaced an 8 port unit. 12V power requirements meant that I could wire it up to a battery backed PSU. Metal enclosure helps with heat dissipation, much better than the unit it had replaced. Link speed indication is a nice touch. Thusfar, the switch has performed well and I'm satisfied with the purchase. Take note that this is not a rack mountable switch.
