I bought one of these to add to the existing security system and am familiar with the G3 Pro and the Micro. The camera is an upgrade from the G3 with a superior microphone and a better sensor for overall better performance. 4K resolution is nice for the details even at a distance. This review would be 5 star, but the seller and others like them are SCALPERS and we're all tired of this. I paid $467.01 September 2020 and we're almost coming up on one year on that purchase. DO NOT enable these clowns to continue. Buy direct from store.ui dot com. Sign up for email alerts when they're back in stock. I hope this helps.

The night vision isn’t what I thought it would be, but the picture quality is outstanding. Really like the smart detection rollout as well, very neat feature.

The camera stopped working after a year and a half. Only one year warranty. I advise everyone to think 10 times before buying this camera.

These are the best security cameras ever!! Bit expensive..but worth every penny..infrared is awesome!! Can view on computer or your smart phone.

Upon first unboxing and inspection, these look like baby Hubble Telescopes. Which lead me to falsely assume they would deliver the quality image that my retail store needs, on the occasions of theft. Nothing could be further from the truth, these cameras are abysmal, grainy, slow even on their hight settings, and zoomed in. I have Fiber 1GB Internet and have Dream Machine and Ubiquiti Pro Switches, so I know it isn't the connection. And my final gripe is that unless you are mounting them on the side of a wall, their bases do not allow you to tilt them high enough to make use of the wide-angle of their lenses.
