The UGreen Nexode RG 65W brings some much-needed personality to the often mundane world of wall chargers, with a robot-like build and emotion-filled display. But there’s real substance here too, with 65W of power, three charging ports and smart temperature monitoring. Its small size is matched by a modest price and although I’d love to see more expressions – as seen in the 100W model – this is still a great charging companion.

The UGreen Nexode RG 65W Robot GaN Fast Charger is a cute yet effective design with several frills that improve its aesthetic appeal. The robot emoticon face is an effective touch as well to indicate charging status while being charming too. Definitely a worthy addition to any travel kit.

The Ugreen Nexode RG 65W charger looks, feels, and works fantastically well. It’s unique and efficient, it can charge up all your devices quickly, and it looks adorable while doing so. If you’re not too bothered about charging speeds, it’s likely overkill, but that extra efficiency will save you a lot of waiting around in the long. It helps that you can pop it in your bag and head off without worries it will break. And it’s cute as a button. If nothing else, that should make all the difference. Look at it. Look at it.
