This premium model is well worth the time savings for those that shred a lot

The Powershred 99Ci offers security level P-4 shredding capability. It can turn up to 17 sheets of documents into 5/32 x 1-1/2-inch cross-cut particles with a maximum continuous operating time of 25 minutes. Three levels of anti-jam protection keep your machine from getting stuck via sensor to ensure you're not introducing too much material into the head.

This is an otherwise great shredder. I like the fact that it cross-shreds, and 17 sheets at once. However it takes a bit longer to shred than my previous straight-cross shredder. My only other complaint is that the LCD light on the top to indicate that the power is on is way too bright! I had to place two very small pieces of duct tape over the lights because when I look down to shred and look away, I see spots and it takes awhile for my eyes to re-adjust. Other than that, I love the pull-out drawer to empty the shreds, the pocker folder on the side is very convienent, and so are the wheels. I also like the protective cover to shred CD/DVD's and credit cards.

Its slow and noisy. I'm not sure if I would recommend this machine. I would do more research as far as noise and speed.
