We love our North Face bags, this is to replace one that's 10 years old that has travelled around the world with us - to the peaks of Kilimanjaro, Egypt and around japan. These bag are incredible.

I've just purchased this North Face Base Camp Duffel (Medium) for short trips and weekend travel, and so far it has been awesome. The material feels really tough and durable, the inside has a durable water repellant layer and holds up well even when it gets tossed around in cars or airports. I like the backpack straps too. They make it much easier to sling over my shoulder and carry when the bag is full. Plenty of space for clothes and other gear, and the wide opening makes packing simple. Definitely a solid bag that I expect to use for years. Will see how it holds up over the long term, but this bag is replacing one I bought 25+ years ago which has worked really well over this full period.
