my only problem is its way too big for what the wii u comes with memory wise and the free HD update pack is also ridiculously massive.

Played it to death. I hoped for more resolution in its ending but I really enjoyed the time I put in it otherwise. Totally worth waiting for the mechs too. So fun!

Great game. Lots of fun exploration and collecting things does NOT feel like you are stuck in place and unable to continue in the story.
