Tomodachi Life tilbyder en charmerende og humoristisk oplevelse til korte spilsessioner, men mangler dybde til langvarigt spil. Spillet udmærker sig i sit unikke koncept, hvor spillere skaber Mii-karakterer og følger deres daglige interaktioner på en farverig ø. De omfattende personaliseringsmuligheder for stemme, personlighed og udseende giver megen variation. Efter 20-30 timers gameplay gentager de samme anmodninger og dialoger sig dog, hvilket gør spillet forudsigeligt. Minispillene er for simple, og de robotagtige stemmer kan irritere. Spillet mangler et klart slutmål, hvilket er frustrerende for nogle, selvom netop denne frihed også udgør charmen. Ideelt til casual gamere og yngre spillere, der nyder kreative simulationer med Nintendos typiske humor, men mindre egnet til dem, der søger dybdegående gameplay.

My daughter ordered this after asking permission. Unfortunately, I hadn't realized that it was a "digital" purchase and that you have to have a Nintendo account and and wasn't an actual game that she could play on her Nintendo DS gaming system so we haven't been able to get it working yet on our laptop. Tried to cancel it as soon as I noticed it was a "digital" purchase (a half an hour after it was purchased), but there isn't an option to do so.

Its a cute game. You make your Mii people. Feed them, clothe them, give them new apartment looks. But it gets boring a lot faster than i thought.

Bought this game a few days ago and I am completely addicted. I love it and it’s so fun and entertaining. My husband thinks it’s funny too because I made him as a person on the game as well.

My kids, 12 and 9, love this game! I'm impressed with how detailed it is and how many things they can do with it. As for any in-depth commentary, I can't provide that... but if you have kids in that age range, they'll probably love it!

My son wanted this game for his birthday. He loves it, he tells me daily about the lives of his little Mii people. He really enjoys what they do, and the mini games. Kind of like the sims for the 3ds.
