It’s a dynasty warriors type game, but a slower pace. Still massive battles, where you conquer bases and defeat large number of enemy units. You control a group of troops not just one super powrdered leader. A few rpg elements, some strategy and lots of hack and slash make for a fun time. Looses one star for some bugs that cause your units to not repone to controls at times and your units can get stuck in weird spots. They do teleport to you if you go far but if you happen to get attacked while they’re stuck, you’re down a man which sucks. 4/5 stars, a very fun game for a weekend. Side note: game comes with the original which is the 100 years war battles, and nightmare, which is a fantasy type of war. Two games in one, you can’t go too wrong!

Arrived well packaged and on time. If you've played Bladestorm (1OO years war), this is more of the same ..... in fact, I think it is the same, but with a extra 'nightmare' campaign with fantasy creatures tagged on the end. Remember the original Bladestorm graphics? Aside from different fantasy units the graphics look pretty much the same - don't expect 'next gen', but do expect all the same quirks and glitches from the original. If you liked the old Bladestorm (or the very similar Dynasty Warriors,from the same company) and sold it with your old Xbox360 or PS3, you'll probably like this replacement.
