An excellent lens that lives up to expectations. Well worth the upgrade even if you already have the original version for the reduced size, weight and improved optics. What a lovely little upgrade! The new lens is very sharp, even wide open, and produces clean, punchy images. It feels much lighter than the old one, and balances beautifully on my XT-5. The zoom ring is silky smooth and the aperture ring has two settings; for video [stepless] and stills which is also lightweight though I hoped it would be more notchy. In summary; a lens of real quality and versatility which will spend most of its time on my camera. Now Fuji, it's time to transfer this lightweight technology to the GF 45-100. PLEASE!
