Canon RF 85mm f/2 MACRO IS STM

From some of the researching I did, this seemed to be marketed for the portrait photographer. I required a lens for my larger wildlife macro subjects, and intimate landscapes. This for me fits that role nicely. While not a true macro, so you will not get a small bug to fill the frame, it allows you to be creative with your macro compositions. The IS on the lens is excellent.

Incredible bang for the buck! I am loving the shots I'm able to get with this 85 F2. Portraits, events, street photography. So much value.

The Marco was very nice; sharp and clear. I tried flowers, bees etc. The protrait is beautiful, nice blur background etc.

I bought this a few weeks ago and love it , great quality pictures and its lightweight . At an affordable price

I didn’t buy the lens for any of the above listed reasons. I bought it because it conformed to how I am seeing things these days. A bit tighter and a bit closer where a slightly wider lens( 50mm or 35mm) would change the perspective and orientation of what I was attempting to record. As with every RF lens I have purchased recently it’s wonderfully sharp.
