Alessi Dc06/1 Espressomaskine

I bought this primarily for it's shape and it's supposed chrome-look finish - I like shiny things! However I was really let down on opening the box. The finish is nothing like what is shown on the box, it has a rather dull exterior which only got worse after use. It works as it should however you'd be hard pushed to get 3 cups from it unless you only want a small sip of coffee. Very disappointing and not recommended.

...to a Nespresso. Which I don't hugely fancy, anyway. We had one of these stovetop types a dozen years ago, when we first started drinking lattes, etc. as opposed to just coffee. We loved it. Now, I've gotten so accustomed to crema, that I find it nearly undrinkable. But my partner is very happy with it. And it's a very cute, art-deco design.

Really nice Espresso percolator. Lid is ever so slightly out of alignment but hey, it makes great coffee!

just right for a coffee for one person, tastes as a latte from Costa!! very happy
