Black & Decker GKC1825L20, 25 cm, 3,5 m/s, Sort, Orange, Batteri, 2 At, Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion)

I have been using this chainsaw for almost 5 months and almost on a dalitly bases. I can tell you this machine is fabulous. It cuts much thicker wood than stated. It's powerful and has not given me a issue so far touch wood :) my only minor issue is the way the chain. Is connected to the saw gets loose on some heavy usages and you are having to put the chain in and screw back which can be time consuming. Even though this minor niggle this saw has not let me down so far. The product is well buoy and feels it too. I purchased a cheaper chainsaw from a shop on my high street which I won't name. That just did not last more than a few months at best. If you want a good chainsaw you can't go wrong with this beauty. Also I must say deliverywas brilliant (as you would expect from Amazon). I recommend this product to anyone wanting a very good chainsaw. Thank you.

The saw is efficient and safe to use Problem - may my ignorance, but as the chainsaw oil self feeding, then even when not in use the oil system is still feeding therefore it 'leaks' wherever the saw is stored. I contacted Black & Decker Technical Services and they informed me that the saw should be stored on a rag or it has to be emptied of oil after each use !

Worked well initially, when i came to use it again... nothing.. just didn’t work at all. Sent it back and received a replacement, great on first time of using, went to use it again... nothing... exactly the same problem just didn’t work.!! Returned again now going to try a different make

Took a maple tree down to stumps. Took me 20 minutes to set up chain (after soaking in chainsaw oil - sold separately - for 60 minutes). The instructions are not perfect. One diagram repeated unnecessarily and mislabelled and you're told to align bolt with chain guide screw but this is impossible. Common sense gets you through and - once you've set it up - you're up and running. Get yourself eye protection, ear buds, a mesh face guard, sturdy boots and protective clothing but prepare to get HOT. This is hot work. Mind you, I was working in 30 degree heat :) Can't be without PPE wear though. This chainsaw guzzled through half its reservoir of oil. I'd estimate a standard bottle would do for about an hour's sawing. For the price this is an amazing tool. I'd never used one before. Saved myself £250 getting a professional to do it for me and I still have the chainsaw for next year. Totally recommended.

After reading the reviews and the average stars I bought the saw hoping to cut some logs down for my fire, this saw struggles with the smallest of logs, I tried everything I could think of, even loosening the chain. If you want to cut small pieces of wood than use this saw.
