They work - they are not as beefy as the ones that come with original CISCO products, but they do the job. I wouldn't use them on an exceptionally heavy switch.

Odd that the same chasis as the 890 yet the 861 was designed to be desk mounted. I still used these mounts on the 861W to rack it. This was a desperate situation so I paid the higher than expected price rather than have mounts machined.

I deal with a lot of Cisco at work so naturally I end up wanting the same at home. I have 80mbs down and 20mbs up FTTC (BT infinity style) broadband and found that a lot of the cheaper routers just can't deal with the bandwidth. I purchased a cisco 887va and found it didn't have the CPU powers, 100% above about 50mbs which may not matter to most but annoyed me no end! why cisco puts such weak cpus in some routers I don't know Anyway, after a lot of research I ended up getting the 1941 + cisco ehwic-vdsl (for the vdsl connection) and it copes perfectly well. A little hint, you don't actually NEED the wic card as you can use the BT box and connect to the router via Ethernet.
