Provided you don't mind going wireless only, the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) is pretty much everything you need in a gaming headset. What's more with the preset sound profiles and comfortable fit, these make for an excellent set of cans for movies and music too.

If anyone is thinking of buying these headphones, don't make my mistake. 200 pounds were thrown away. After 7 months of use, the mount of the left earphone broke, which happened by itself during the game, and after another 2 weeks, the right mount also broke, which is why it is impossible to use the headphones.

This updated Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Gaming Headset is the best headset I've ever owned. The package arrived in perfect condition. The audio quality is rich and clear, and the updated mic is one of the best out right now, and these settings can be customized in Razer Synapse. It's also ridiculously comfortable as I've played with it on for about 10 hours straight, and it can last 70 hours on a single charge! It doesn't have active noise cancellation, but the ear cups do a great job in isolating external noise. I had a mic issue initially, but I just needed to restart Razer Synapse. It comes with its own dongle and an USB-A to USB-C cable & adapter, and it uses USB-C to charge. Fantastic purchase!!!

Moving from a Plantronic RIG800 under DOLBY ATMOS to this one. I have nothing negative to say about this purchase. The build quality is top notch. The sound quality is there, I'm on "NAHIMIC" for sound management. The foam/fabric is a plus for comfort and durability. No need to download RAZER software to manage the sound of these headphones. Quality/price couldn't be better. Light on the head, no fatigue.

After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this headset, and I'll agree it's one of the best gaming wireless headsets you can get for this price. The microphone is indeed the best in its class. The battery life is better than I expected and after playing around in the Razor settings I've found the perfect balance for gaming/music. The only small downside is the wireless range, for me it just about reaches the other side of the house. Overall great headset. 9/10
