Audeze LCD-2 Classic Closed-Back Headphones

Fantastisk lyd, med superskøn lydscene og virkelig god bas for et åbent hovedtelefon. Lyden er lidt på den varmer side, det var helt klart en opgradering fra mine HD 650. Dog de er utrolige tunge, jeg vil nok ikke anbefale dem som en hverdags hovedtelefon.

- I bought these headphones due to their FR, knowning they were somewhat bass heavy (which is what i was after).For open-planars, they have an exceptional amount of slam in the sub-bass with fast decay and a decent amount of rumble. Mids sound nice, with the high-mids not sounding shouty. Treble is crsip, no harhness and no silibance.

Good for neutral sound. The LCD 2 Classic are comfortable, have a decent soundstage, great imaging distortion, and consistency. That said, they have a warm sound profile that lacks thump and rumble, which is expected from open-back headphones. They also have a recessed treble range, so vocals and lead instruments sound veiled, while sibilants like cymbals are dull. On the upside, their mid range is very flat and neutral, so vocals and lead instruments sound clear and accurate.

Audeze enters the price region of well below 1,000 euros with the somewhat slimmed down LCD-2 Classic, thus becoming a more appealing option for a new slice of the market. Reduced to the essentials, these headphones combine the highest processing criteria with a super comfortable fit and a sound that’s built for longer listening sessions. With additional software, sound artists and mastering engineers can also adapt the vividly smooth audio capabilities to their needs. The LCD-2 has what it takes to win legions of new fans.
