I bought this to replace an aging system in my Kitchen. It is perfect. Great sound, clear treble and bass. Super solid build quality - including a physical switch to disable the alexa/chrome/siri connectivity. I am driving it via Chromecast from a navidrome server, using symfonium on the phone to chose the music etc. All works flawlessly. I am getting another for the bedroom!

This is an amazing little speaker. I was blown away the first time I played music on it, clear midrange, not too bright or forward & excellent bass. Speaker placement is crucial as having it away from a wall won’t give you a lot of bass but moving it to within a few inches of a wall improved bass dramatically.

We are so happy and impressed with this little speaker. Not many companies are making Google Assistant devices, and I'm glad this is. Since our house has Gemini, this speaker does too. It also supports Tidal Audio, which wasn't advertised anywhere. I use Tidal and my wife uses Spotify. It would be nice if the JBL app let us 'share' access, instead of sharing the same password, but other than that it's been great. I have the app on my phone and we set the 'heart' button to play forest sounds. Most importantly, it sounds great! But it's so compact.

It was between this and the Sonos Era 100, to provide smart speaker features and music in the kitchen. The Era 100 probably edged the JBL out on sound quality at low to mid volume levels, but it was the retro styling and ability to run both Alexa and Google Assistant at the same time that won me over. No need to choose which assistant, or to have two smart speakers.
