Bought primarily to use as a directional mic on an iPad running Blackmagic Camera v 2.2. Deffo more focussed sound than the Apple internal mic up to about 3m, which is fine for Pieces To Camera and interviews. Jackplug monitoring facility useful. Decent Andertons Black Friday discount, too

Works as it should for a beginner mic, more of a screen view mic than a view finder mic, as the mic gets in the way if you were to try and look through the view finder

This mic is a secret weapon. Best to use with a 35mm so you can get close to your subject. Highly recommended.
