Jil Sander Sun er en udpræget sommerduft, som ofte beskrives som solrig, strandagtig og nostalgisk, med klare minder om solcreme fra 80’erne og 90’erne. Mange brugere sætter pris på den varme, cremede og glade stemning og finder prisen meget attraktiv, især i et gavesæt med showergel. Eau de toiletten er bemærkelsesværdigt kraftig: den åbner stærkt, projekterer tydeligt og bliver længe på hud og tøj, så få sprays rækker langt. Samtidig er det en meget polariserende duft. Ofte nævnes det, at den kan lugte syntetisk og næsten plastisk, især i åbningen, og nogle føler behov for at vaske den af med det samme. I høj varme kan den søde, tætte duft hurtigt blive for meget, så den fungerer bedre med måde eller på lidt mildere sommerdage. Udtrykket er tydeligt retro og ikke særlig moderne, hvilket for nogle giver charme, men for andre er et minus. Sættet er især interessant for dem, der kan lide intense, nostalgiske sommerdufte og vil have en god pris.

This scent is crazy! It goes through so many phases, a pure olfactory pleasure. it is a powdery paradise with a very high quality vanilla sensation. The leather and the oud are very subtle but they play their role perfectly. Bergamot is superbly overpowering and makes it even more versatile. I remembered the great reviews I read several years ago, and recently I was lucky enough to find a new one on the net so I didn't hesitate for a second, luckily! Being passionate for years I have been able to smell a large number of perfumes, chords, different notes, and believe me never anything like it. On the other hand, I can recognize at certain times the Thierry Wasser style and that makes me smile. One of my best discoveries, a big bravo Mr Wasser!

This is an unashamed clone of CK One. As such, many men may find it far too sweet and cloying and even cause headaches if oversprayed. It definitely needs to be labelled Unisex. It's suitable for summer use and has good long lasting performance compared to many fragrances with the word 'summer' in their name. It is still good value for those who love the powerful sweetness of CK One, but I didn't like it.

This is a great example of a not so well known fragrance that really should be talked about more. Its a really great clean and fresh fragrance for man. Long lasting more suitable for the summer and going out during the day. And as great as it is, it's also very cheap compared with other more popular fragrances. Really recommend that you try this one. Get the big bottle for extra value.
