Hugo Boss The Scent After Shave Lotion er et opfriskende middel med en behagelig, krydret-læderagtig profil. Duften kombinerer ingefær, lavendel og maninka-frugtnoder i åbningen, der udvikler sig til en varm, let pudret læderagtig tørstand. Selvom det er egnet til alle hudtyper og absorberes hurtigt, har det begrænset ydeevne med omkring 5 timers varighed og blød projektion. Just like the original Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette , the fragrance is virtually only skin-close immediately after spraying. It lasts at least a few hours on clothing, but does not project. I still like it, above all because it displays a contrasting fragrance profile, at least temporarily. And this despite BOSS writing that it should contain only four notes. "Hints of icy violet", "hints of pineapple" and "sandalwood accord with musk". But as you can see, many reviewers interpret significantly more into it. For me, it starts off alcoholically synthetic and indefinable, then transitions into a light violet for a few minutes. This phase is also the "shower gel" for me. Then a slight fruitiness occasionally peeks through, which only very distantly reminds me of pineapple. In the base, sandalwood with musk is definitely waiting, and it is also what mainly remains once all the other notes have almost completely "evaporated" after ~15 minutes.
