Since I like Chanel fragrances anyway, it was time to try Platinum Égoïste Eau de Toilette . The opening, with neroli and petitgrain, creates a fresh, slightly citrusy start. Then green, herbal notes join in, and now it strongly reminds me of another fragrance. I immediately thought, I know this one. I find the resemblance to Eternity for Men Eau de Toilette unmistakable. Platinum Égoïste Eau de Toilette seems a little more mature to me, though. The heart notes include oakmoss and sandalwood, which keep the fragrance green while now making it woodier, too. I would rate its longevity and sillage as average. I can smell the fragrance for about 5 hours, before it becomes detectable only up close. The bottle is simple in design, but stands out with its pleasing shape. All in all, a great, fresh, green fragrance, especially suited to everyday wear, as it never comes across as overpowering.

This fragrance has accompanied me practically my whole life and is an absolute must-have for me. It cannot be missing, and despite the high price, every milliliter is worth its cost! This scent offers a combination of freshness, cleanliness, elegance, sensuality, and allure. I have never been disappointed with this fragrance, and it is a perfect companion at any time, both during the day and at night.
