This product sucks. It didn't work. It didn't have enough power to spread the rubber boot from a car. That is it's only reason it exists. To spread the rubber CV joint boot. I got two and a half inches of spread with 140psi. 200 bucks. Ouch. I threw the box away and don't even know what to do with it. Is big heavy scam.

This tool combined with the Flexx Boots (3001) allowed me to save the OE axles on a 1984 W123 Mercedes. I can see this being useful on standard axles but the Mercedes ones are not able to be reassembled without special tools so being able to just change the boots is a huge help. I did have some trouble with the first tool, but the company was very responsive and helpful and sorted it out quickly.

TRIED to use this to install CV boots from Mercedes. Connected to a 125 psi compressor the tool could barely expand the boots a quarter of an inch. Returned.
