Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20 Hot Merlot

Overall the guitar feels and sounds great. It arrived from Andertons almost perfectly setup with only a few minor adjustments needed to suit my own preferences. The guitar plays really well and puts out some fantastic sustain and tone when dialled in right. The ‘focus’ pull switch gives some interesting tonal possibilities though I personally don’t see myself using this too much. The guitar has a premium feel above its price class and the satin coat on the neck feels fantastic. The guitar feels heavier than I had expected - especially given the ‘chambered’ body design - however it steel feels balanced

Best value for money I’ve seen in a instrument of this price - the hardware and sound of the Yamaha Revstar are something I’d expect in a guitar costing £1000+, so I’m extremely happy with my purchase!

High quality finish and great value for money. Little bit of fret buzz at the 14th fret but sorted after 20 mins fettling.
