Zoom B1 FOUR Bass Multi-Effects Pedal

I have upgraded from a previous model, so I knew what I was buying, a very noticeable improvement from my older model, good robust quality, with all of the features I need for my bass guitars

The product is more plastic in construction so not as robust given it is foot operated in the main. It would be interesting to see how well it fairs in use. Good array of sounds but wished the expression pedal was larger

For under a £100 this is an absolute steal There are a lot of crazy synth effects and things I can’t see myself using but there are plenty of options for the key components in an ampless signal chain compression, drive, amp sims and cab sims. I like the fact that I can get basically the same tones whether I’m outputting to my computer speakers at home or my big Headrush powered speaker . I can just turn up plug in and choose my preset Unfortunately it doesn’t have a built in DI but at this price I can’t complain One of these days I’ll spend about five times as much cash on a helix stomp but the sounds are good enough on this that I’m in no hurry

I use only few effects out of the array the Zoom B1x delivers but it is good to have them. Chromatic tuner combined with the mute pedal is a very useful functionality and worth the price. One may consider the rest as a bonus

great value for money + amazing look, it feels like a proper fender (or even better than some of them)
