Great straighteners, heat up quite quickly, the quality feels professional, the display is of great help, the cord is thick and long and they come with a heat resistant pouch great for storing and traveling. However, after a year and a half of use (only once every one or two weeks) these straighteners stopped working. They are unable to maintain a temperature above 150C or to gain heat whatsoever. Please beware that there are several other buyers who suffered from the same issue so, if buying this product, don't forget to register it with Remington so you can make use of the warranty which seems to be quite good (thing that I forgot to do).

This is the second S9600 Silk Straightener I bought. The first was directly from boots. The first one worked well for months and then stopped reaching the temperature it was supposed to suddenly. This new one now shuts off as it starts to reach the set temperature and I have to keep turning it on several times just to get my hair done. Both starting glitching at less than a year old! It works well, but with all the malfuntions I would not buy this brand again.
