Razer Kraken V3 X er en let og behagelig gaming-headset med god mikrofon og stilfuld RGB-belysning. Lyden er fin til prisen, men kan ikke finjusteres i softwaren. Kun USB-A betyder, at den ikke kan bruges direkte på telefon eller konsolcontroller. Mikrofon og kabel er faste, så ved skade skal hele headsettet udskiftes. 7.1 surroundlyd virker kun på Windows 10 64-bit. Til casual gaming på PC er det et solidt valg, men til mere lydkontrol eller brug på flere enheder findes bedre alternativer.

Razer claims that its headphones have 7.1 surround sound. It's true, on one condition: pay an extra 25€ on the app, and use the headphones while logged into your upgraded Razer account (data tracking hello!). This information is nowhere to be found on the product sheet, so it's a big fat lie. Even though I don't really care about the 7.1, these marketing methods are despicable. I'm reluctant to return these headphones.

Soft earcups allow for extended wear. The battery life is excellent as I wear out before it even hits 80%. The mic sounds very clear and no distortion especially from breathing. The mic also retracts into the headset! All the controls are intuitive and very quick to get used to. Sound quality is theater-like. Good bass, mid and high ranges are crisp and clear. No feedback or hissing.

I bought this to replace my old Razer wired headset and was not disappointed. Comfortable, supported by by Windows and MacOS. Works great for working-from-home and gaming!
