The headset is all that you would need for gaming. The (2 year) surround sound is great for playing competitive shooters and the sound without directional audio is sufficient (not murky and great bass, although can sometimes sound like you're in a hall). For music lovers, you may want to consider a different pair of headphones with better audio quality. You get what you pay for with these headphones. The mic is clear and the build is durable, although the cushions on the ears may cause discomfort for those with glasses or large ears.

I am overall happy with the headphones. The sound quality is decent and it comes with long cable so that connecting it to my desktop was no issue at all. After 2.5 years or so, the artificial leather started to dissolve and whenever I wear them, I have small pieces of this material all over my cheeks (started to realize this only after my wife pointed out “the black things” in my face). You can see the current state of the headphones in the picture attached to this review. This is really the only reason why I cannot give these headphones 5 stars.

ce casque ma durée plus de 2 ans, et maintenant mes enfants sen servent depuis plus d'une année. la qualité en exellente et malgré la misere que je lui ai fait vivre, cest clairement le meilleur casque que j'ai eu

Headset comes with a super long cord where the wiring is not well protected and can easily mess up the headset if the cord gets rolled over with a chair.
