We purchased 6 pairs of these headphones as they were comfortable to wear and lightweight. However, within 3-4 weeks of use, three of them had broken just above the ear piece. The construction is not very resilient.

As ever the sounds quality from creative is solid, the major downside of this product is the microphone, its simply too quiet for people to hear you over the sound of a game.

I find these headphones/mic top class for online chat (Skype), I find the sound much clearer than other headphones. I have tried a number of other phones, including much more expensive ones, but found the sound much more muffled than the Creative phones. I would prefer other phones for listening to music but for talking these are way out in front. Just to put that that in perspective, I use them for chatting in Spanish with someone in Venezuela and the clarity is what is most important to me. Why 4 stars? Because the phones snapped while being carried in a suitcase, I now have them held together by builders tape! But they still work.

Headphones broke after only 3 months(arrived 15th Aug, band snapped 18th Nov). Same place as all other low reviews of this item. I complained directly to Amazon about this item and have been sent a replacement. It would be better if Amazon contacted the manufacturer and placed pressure to improve the product quality on behalf of its customers.

I started by liking these headphones; they are very comfortable, the sound quality is good, and they are easy to adjust. Unfortunately, the build quality isn't up to everyday use. When I first bought a pair of these, they lasted about three months, then the left hand side of the headband snapped like chocolate where it pulls in and out to change fitting size. I bought another pair, but after just two months' use they have done exactly the same thing, in exactly the same place. The overlong USB codec housing is also very vulnerable to accidental knocks. Not acceptable even for this price.
