Asus ROG Theta 7.1 leverer imponerende surroundlyd og er komfortabel selv ved lange sessioner. Byggekvaliteten er solid, og lyden er klar og rummelig, ideel til spil og film. Mikrofonen er dog under middel med forvrængning og volumenudsving, hvilket er irriterende ved kommunikation. Headsettet er tungt, og de tykke kabler kan irritere på nakke eller bryst. Prisen er også høj, især med den svage mikrofon. For dem der prioriterer lyd over mikrofon, er det et stærkt valg, men kommunikerer du meget, bør du overveje alternativer.

Have had mine now for 6 months and the sound qualitiy is amazing. BUT THE HEAD ADJUSTER FELL APART, and scan have said that its my problem. I can put it back together and it works fine but for the cost of this its not worth it. the construction quality is poor. If you are looking to spend this amount of money by another product. If you want to be supported when the item fails BUY ELSEWHERE scan will leave you high and dry

Headphones very well build. It is definitely quality unit. However the performance wasn't great. As for my personal preference unit wasn't loud enough and the bass was nearly non existent. At that price I expected more from the unit. In the end I ended up returning the unit.

Both the original and the replacement headset exhibit poor sound quality. Any voice in a video or communication is clipped very loudly, to the point of being painful. For example watching youtube or voice communication while gaming are very uncomfortable. Voice within music is generally not effected, but these are not headphones capable of high fidelity music listening, it's a "gaming" headset. Research online, amongst peers and also within these reviews show this is a common issue. Microphone quality is also poor compared to headsets in this pricepoint. The headphones are actually quite comfortable for it's size. It seems this issue can not be fixed via drivers or software and must be a hardware issue, possibly related to voice-cancelling. Disappointing purchase, personally I could not recommend purchasing this product regardless of how discounted they are. Do you want to return 3 times to possibly get a working pair?

Top of the line headset, you can tell build quality is great but I haven't found much difference in sound quality than my old Sennheiser 363D and one big thing to note is the size and weight difference (I guess comes with quality materials and the true 7.1), after a while the weight of the ROG Theta 7.1 gets a bit much. I found them a bit pricey compared to the Sennheiser as well, I'm still using them as I have only had them a month and haven't tested on a very wide variety of games, overall I could have continued using the Sennheiser and saved my money. Would still recommend as a top end headset if in the market.
