Thrustmaster TH8S Shifter er et prisvenligt og alsidigt valg for simracere, der ønsker en H-mønster gearskifter. Den fungerer med PC og konsoller og mange rat, takket være USB og DIN stik. Metalskiftestangen og sportsknappen giver præcis og hurtig gearskift, og modstanden kan justeres for en personlig følelse. Plastknappen føles dog mindre premium, og der er ingen sekventiel tilstand, hvilket nogle brugere ser som en ulempe. Støj og let aktion kan være forstyrrende, især ved intensiv brug. Fejlskift kan forekomme pga. manglende feedback, men dette mindskes med erfaring. Samlet set er TH8S et solidt valg for dem, der ønsker en billig og alsidig gearskifter.

At this price, you obviously can't expect miracles. It's made entirely of plastic and feels more like a toy than a real gear lever. But for those who want to have fun with a manual gearbox on their favourite simulation, it's an excellent purchase. The dual connectivity (for connection to a Thrustmaster base or via USB-C) means you can look to the future with confidence. Perhaps the 7th gear wasn't necessary after all...

I think my gearbox is really excellent for the price, it's really good. The gear changes on Assetto are excellent, and on ETS 2 too. I still need to test it with City Car Driving. I don't regret my purchase.

The shifter itself works well however it was broken out of the box. The red part on top with all the gear numbers and the leather dust guard thing was fully snapped off
