Panasonic S1R II med 24-105mm F/4 Macro OIS leverer fremragende billedkvalitet og alsidighed til både foto og video. Linsen er skarp, har en nyttig makrofunktion, og kameraet er robust og vejrbestandigt. Billedstabiliseringen fungerer godt, men systemet er stort og tungt. Batterilevetiden er kort, og rolling shutter kan forekomme ved hurtige bevægelser. Den maksimale blænde på f/4 begrænser ydeevnen i svagt lys. Samlet set er det et stærkt valg for seriøse fotografer, der ønsker fleksibilitet og kvalitet.

The camera itself is great, but didn’t meet my needs. This review is specifically for ordering from Panasonic directly. Simply put, do not ever order anything from them direct. They utilize Shopify as far as I can tell and it’s been every bit as much of a nightmare as it could be. They can’t do anything without filing tickets that they never follow up on (I’d imagine their warranty process will be terrible as a result). Even as I write this I’m going over 2 weeks with 3 separate issues that still have yet to be resolved. Just don’t order from Panasonic.

Most looking at the LUMIX S1RM2 have a focus on photography. And for the photographer this camera delivers in spades. However, what is frequently missed in photography centric purchases is the significant video features that this camera model brings to the table. With the latest version of the firmware, I've used it to record 8.1K 3:2 OpenGate for over three hours using the DCC18 USB-C dummy battery and an external SSD drive connected to the USB-C port. I've done this for 4 events now and it's a solid performer with amazing results in the color science.

In many ways the S1RII exceeds my expectations. The CAF tracking works well IMO and I am a huge fan of Lumix colors! Battery life is okay and made easier by the compatibility with GH6,7 etc. batteries. Ergonomics are among the best in the business and I love Lumix colors.. My only gripe is that the new new features are basically not documented (other than their existence) which has been annoying but not really a big deal.. I'm just not really wanting to experiment at length.

This is the camera to beat in the year 2025, and for its price. Couldn't recommend another, and purchasing from Wilkinson was smooth as ABC. No regrets, and I got a fantastic deal.
