Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV-sættet er en komplet og overkommelig løsning for begyndere og rejsefotografer. Pakken indeholder kameraet med dets 20MP sensor og stærk in-body stabilisering, plus ED 14-42mm kit-objektivet, der leverer skarpe billeder over hele zoomintervallet. Kombinationen er ekstremt bærbar og leverer konsistente, attraktive JPEG-billeder. Den forbedrede autofokus og øjendetektering fungerer godt til statiske og langsomt bevægende motiver. Kit-objektivet er kompakt og godt tilpasset kameraets design. Til video er flip-down LCD praktisk, men manglen på mikrofonindgang begrænser professionel brug. Kontrastdetektering autofokus kan have svært ved hurtige bevægelser, og billedkvaliteten ved høj ISO halter efter APS-C kameraer. Dette er et fremragende startset til fotografer, der søger et komplet, let og brugervenligt setup.

I should have read more on this camera, whilst it comes well regarded its actually a relatively old tech by todays stds and I’m a little disappointed on the image quality.. I’m told it’s the “kit” lens the images lack sharpness and in most situations can’t match my iPhone 11 for crispness.. I know you can do a lot in post processing but seems a lot to do based on the cost .. I do like the style, feel and ability to learn all modes and composition so maybe I’ll try another lens or upgrade when I know more

I recently took my OM-5 to Northern California. My experience with the OM-5 was very satisfying. The camera worked well and the small size and small weight made it easy to take on all of my hikes. I was able to use the camera in lower light conditions and the images still looked sharp and well exposed.

The OM SYSTEM OM-5 is good for landscape photography. Though it doesn't have the widest dynamic range, it captures great image quality for its class. On top of that, it comes with a high-resolution composite mode to capture higher-resolution images of still subjects like landscapes. It's also very compact, making it easy to take on long hikes to remote shooting locations, and it feels well-built, with weather-sealing to withstand the cold, dust, and moisture. That said, it has a mediocre battery life, and its ergonomics and user interface can take some getting used to.

Good Points: I wanted something to replace my aged Pen-F which I used for my outdoor walkabout style of photography, so it need to be just as compact, light and easy to carry around all day, but have better AF (phase detection), include the latest computational features of pro level cameras, have improved image quality and importantly be genuinely weatherproof. I am pleased to say the OM-5 has easily met all those requirements. Improvement Points: No separate battery charger included. Can't use camera when USB cable connected to it when charging it for example from a power bank. I just wish it had been in the Pen-F form factor i.e a Pen-F II, though this hasn't been as much of a practical handicap as thought it might be I have to admit, it's just about aesthetics.
