It was complicated to set up and I am still learning all the buttons and where everything is. It seemed to use a lot of battery power, if tracking subjects. Good tracking abilities and eye detection.

I purchased this 2 months ago but have still not used it in anger. I need to learn more and I’m also a bit of a fair weather user so the timing did not help me getting out and about with it yet. I semi retire in April so will get to try and used it fully then.

This is my first full frame camera and so far I am very impressed with the picture and video quality, there is no IBIS but I have not found this to be a problem.

I was wanting a small lightweight mirrorless camera compatible with my lenses for street/travel type photography. The R8 full frame is ideal. Image quality great and controls I am used to!
