Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Solei De Nuit 50ml Eau De Parfum

I've been wearing Bronze Goddess for many many years. I accidentally bought a different version a few years ago, it was terrible! Old lady smelling. Now I found myself looking for my favorite perfume tonight and all I found was the new bottles scents. Stop making night and other variations. The original was amazing! Still is if I could ever find it!!! Frustrating!

The scent used to be beautiful although never long lasting, however that was ok because used together with the body crème, shower gel and oil it would last well enough. I used to get so many compliments when I wore it with the accompanying items listed above. The body crème was lovely one of the best products such a deep lasting smell and then topped up with the spray it was great. Why oh why does Estée Lauder mess about with bringing new scents of the Bronze Goddess range instead of keeping what worked well. Why discontinue such good products and why change the smell, i don't know what has happened because it doesn't smell as good as it used too. So disappointed. So not interested in the new releases each year. Just want the supporting gels, crème and oil back oh and the orginal scent.

I wore this scent for a year approximately three years ago and decided to give it another go. This scent is not the same formula of years past - not even slightly. I was SO excited to open this scent and give it a go, to be immediately disappointed. The scent is immediate "White Diamonds" old lady stench - I know that is harsh, but it remains to be true. Not only did the scent give me an instant headache, I could not tolerate the smell of it on my body and had to shower it off. The price point on this perfume is reasonable, yet still a lot of money for a lot of consumers today. Did EL cheapen its formula? Nonetheless the item cannot be returned and I am stuck with a bottle of smelly perfume I will never, ever use. When consumers fall in love with your products, EL, it is for the product you formulated - don't go changing it.

I just purchased this and immediately returning back to the store. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. Why did you have to reformulate a scent that was so well liked?! NONE of your other Bronze Goddess scents smell anything like the Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche/Skinscent Vaporisateur that I've had for years. Very irritating. An expensive perfume that smells cheap and smells cheaper the longer it stays on. Shame on you Estee Lauder!

I was very disappointed to find that this smells NOTHING like the bottle of Bronzed Goddess I had before this one. The old one was super sweet smelling and Vanilla forward while this one doesn't smell sweet at all. I'm so sad, I really liked the old smell :(
