Animale Woman Eau de Parfum er en markant 80’er-chypre med masser af kraft og personlighed. Although the packaging looks nice, it is totally impractical. When I first received the perfume, I had bad luck right away when opening it. The bottle fell out of the packaging and the perfume sprayer broke. However, I made an effort and applied the scent to a test strip. At first, it smelled to me like a cheap fragrance from Rossmann. Nevertheless, I ordered this perfume again. After a while, I smelled this strip labeled "Mayar," and compared to Lattafa "Haya" and Lattafa "Yara Tous," it smelled unexpectedly sweet, juicy, and "expensive." I smelled juicy raspberries and sweet lychees - it was incredibly beautiful. I have never tried "Angel Nova" by Mugler in my life, but in any case, I am fully satisfied with this perfume.

Many sweet men's fragrances from today appeal to me less and I find them rarely particularly masculine. However, Animale Animale for Men has succeeded in combining a classic men's scent with sweet aromas, so in the end, I am very pleased. The longevity on my skin exceeds 12 hours and the sillage is also quite convincing. The top note starts off fruity-citrusy, fresh, sweet, and gourmand with aromas of pineapple, lemon peels, limes, bergamot, and floral honey. The heart note continues to smell sweet but also floral-powdery and oriental-spicy with aromas of lavender, iris, violet, ambrette seeds, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, jasmine flowers, tuberose, ylang-ylang, as well as rose water. The base offers woody-resinous, balsamic, and subtly animalic hints of sandalwood, tobacco, musk, cedarwood, amber, vanilla, and rosewood. In the end, Animale Animale for Men has pleasantly surprised me. I sincerely thank Sören for the sample.

I bought this fragrance blind based on a review here on Parfumo and I was not disappointed! I read that Mayar is supposed to resemble Angel Nova quite strongly. I like Angel Nova, but I find it "too loud" over time, which makes it overwhelming. In short: Angel Nova gets on my nerves in the long run. Mayar, however, is said to smell just as good but be less overpowering. My opinion on this: Exactly right! Raspberry, litchi, pleasant rose (not too dominant and definitely not "old-fashioned") define the scent and are also persistently noticeable. It is a fruity-fresh, sweet fragrance. The sillage is top-notch, and yet it doesn't come across as loudly as Angel Nova and doesn't get on my nerves. I am really happy to have discovered Mayar here! A toast to the Parfumo community and all the diligent reviewers!

Definitely not the fragrance or aroma I used to wear years ago. And I can't return it now. It barely smells, seems like I will need to empty the whole thing to make it happen. Besides that, it has a sweet smell and the one I use to like use to smell like lime and woods really fresh. So I gonna leave my review here so I don't commit the same mistake again. Idk why manufacturer has to put the same name to different fragrances so people get confused what is which or which is what.
