Giro Insurgent Spherical er en premium DH-hjelm med overlegen pasform og sikkerhed via Spherical MIPS og Flex Gasket. Ideel til enduro og bike parks med uplifts. Ventilationen er bedre end forgængere, men svedig ved pedalarbejde. Komfortabel hele dagen til nedkørsler, men D-ring besværlighed og vægt gør den mindre til lette trails. Perfekt hvis beskyttelse er prioritet.

Comfortable, affordable, and protective. Needed a new helmet after old one made minor contact with the pavement in a crash. I decided on a Mips rated helmet for the protection against rotational shear forces on the brain. I'm hoping I don't test the new helmet in the same way the old one got trashed! Still , it's comforting to know that extra aspect of protection is there.

Best purchase I have ever made. My partner had a serious cycling accident that caused 4 fractured ribs. The helmet took a lot of impact and he only had a concussion. The EMTs were impressed. I'll be purchasing another soon.

It fits my head well, is comfortable, and looks good. Plenty of ventilation too. I like the idea of the MIPS Spherical design, though I can't say it's better than others. It only tests in the middle of range on the Virginia Tech site on impact protection. A higher rating would be better.

I’m just getting back into biking. Recently traded out my old Stumpjumper for a comfort bike. I needed a new helmet so purchased 4 different helmets online during the last sale. Got this one for $112.00. I’m probably going to keep this one. I have two remaining contenders. What I like about this helmet is the fit. The visor is nice and it’s comfortable with my sunglasses. Minus 2 stars for the strap. The buckle is heavy and the straps don’t stay in the position I put them in. The ventilation is outstanding on this helmet.

I love it; it is incredibly comfortable and feels like it’s giving your head a hug when you put it on. The adjustment dial works really well, adding to comfort. My only complaint is the buckle, and somewhat the strap. The buckle is weirdly small, requiring me to angle my fingers to be able to squeeze/open it, and both it and the strap feel pretty flimsy, but that could be my imagination. If it had a proper sized buck—or even better, a magnetic clip and lock—it’d be an easy 5 stars.
